Before leaving to collect the cash, Usher kills Willard. But after Brennan takes out his two henchmen, to protect Doretta, he's forced into a deadly showdown once Usher returns.

When Sam is shot in the back after being told he could leave safely, some of the townsmen change sides and disarm the Sheriff's men forcing him to face Allison alone. Taking care of the Sheriff, Allison injures his gun hand and must now face Kimbrough left-handed.

The Return of Daniel Boone

Bill "Wild Bill" Elliott plays Bill Boone, the grandson of Daniel Boone, who comes to the rescue of fair maiden (and renegade) Ellen Brandon, played by Betty Miles, who has shot and killed a tax collector in the employ of a crooked mayor. Mayor Ewell (Walter Soderling) is in the pocket of local thug Leach Kilgrain (Ray Bennett). Kilgrain's goal is to gain control of the local ranches through an unscrupulous tax scheme. Meanwhile, Bill's usual sidekick Cannonball (Dub Taylor) is less support than usual as he's busy attracting the attention of twin sisters Melinda and Matilda - but he thinks they're the same girl.

The local Indian Agent, Steve Holden (Charles Starrett), cautions the Colonel to remain calm and show Running Wolf that he stands for peace, but Steve finds himself caught in the middle with neither side trusting his council. Fortunately for all, Steve's outlaw alter-ego The Durango Kid is trusted by Running Wolf, and his quick action helps end the killing. Smiley Burnette is on hand as a traveling shoe repairman, who gets himself in plenty of trouble. Young Tommy Ivo plays the Colonel's son - whose defiant streak puts him in the path of trouble and also allows him to come to the aid of the soldiers.
