The legend of Robin Hood is given a grand retelling in this popular and long running series made for television (1955-59). Filmed in Great Britain with the handsome and dashing Richard Greene as Robin, the "outlaws" of Sherwood Forest watch over the people of England and protect them from the cruelty and greed of the ruling aristocrats.

SIX STRINGS TO HIS BOW: Robin comes to the aid of a minstrel wanted for murder.

SYBELLA: After uncovering a secret plot against the King, a dancer is targeted for assassination.

THE DEBT: A thief posing as one of the Merry Men is terrorizing the countryside. Robin and his friends must bring him to justice before their reputation is ruined.

THE TRUCE: The Sheriff of Nottingham needs Robin's help to win an archery competition.
