Description by OLDIES.com:
"Let's go a roving, a roving, a roving and join the Buccaneers!!!" A young and dashing Robert Shaw stars as Dan Tempest, a former pirate who will be pardoned by the King if he becomes a British privateer and joins in the fight against Spanish pirates threatening Britain's rule of the seas. Noted for playing James Bond's nemesis in From Russia With Love (1963) and King Henry VIII in A Man For All Seasons (1966), Shaw would return to the sea with a stellar performance as the grizzled shark-hunter in 1973's summer blockbuster Jaws.
Gentleman Jack and the Lady: Dan Tempest battles the notorious bloodthirsty Captain "Gentleman"Jack for the prize of a Spanish galleon loaded with gold.
Indian Fighters: In their attempt to free settlers who are unjustly imprisoned, the crew of the Sultana raid Charleston disguised as Indians
Mother Doughty's Crew: Captain Tempest will lose his commission if he fails to bring in a raider that has been plundering and terrorizing merchant ships.
Printers Devil: Wanted by the law for printing the truth about the corrupt Governor of New York, a newspaper publisher and his press find refuge aboard the Sultana.
