Description by OLDIES.com:
Let's go a roving, a roving, a roving and join the Buccaneers!!!" A young and dashing Robert Shaw stars as Dan Tempest, a former pirate who will be pardoned by the King if he becomes a British privateer and joins in the fight against Spanish pirates threatening Britain's rule of the seas. Noted for playing James Bond's nemesis in From Russia With Love (1963) and King Henry VIII in A Man For All Seasons (1966), Shaw would return to the sea with a stellar performance as the grizzled shark-hunter in 1973's summer blockbuster Jaws.
Dan Tempest Holds An Auction: Captain Tempest leads a revolt against a corrupt governor who imprisons farmers that refuse to sell their crops to him.
Flip and Jenny: A man is imprisoned for demanding an education for his children, and Dan hatches a plot to free him.
Pride Of Andolusia: The Sultana sets sail for San Pedro in hot pursuit of a Spanish frigate that is loaded with a hull full of gold bullion stolen from the English Navy.
Spy Aboard: After Sultana's store of gold is stolen by the notorious Captain Peg Leg, Dan realizes that there is a spy in his crew.
