Description by OLDIES.com:
Scientists Robert Norton and Tom Fielding have invented a top-secret formula for creating synthetic fuel but a Nazi spy ring will stop at nothing in order to steal it. An F.B.I. agent assigned to trail the scientists is savagely murdered and the two researchers are abducted. The spy master orders them to turn over the formula within twenty-four hours, or their families will be liquidated. In order to spare his friend, Tom allows the Nazis to take him aboard a high speed plane bound for Berlin. On board, Fielding is forced to betray his country or die.
Dashing leading man Michael Whalen is best remembered for his roles in the Shirley Temple classics Poor Little Rich Girl (1936) and Wee Willie Winkie (1937). He starred with Jean Rogers in a series of detective mysteries including Time Out For Murder (1938), While New York Sleeps (1938) and Inside Story (1939). When his star power waned, he appeared steadily in character parts with his final unbilled screen appearance in the 1960 classic Elmer Gantry.
