Entertainment Reviews:
3.5 stars out of 4 -- [I]t's here that Hamill gives the performance of his career, nailing every nuance of an iconic role and rewarding the emotional investment we've made in him.
Rolling Stone
More than replicating the specifics of EMPIRE, THE LAST JEDI preserves its general values, its spectacle and mysticism and downbeat Shakespearean drama. -- Grade: B+

Rating: 5/5 --
Brilliantly mesmerizing with a dazzling use of color, the action sequences are perhaps the best they've ever been, and the comedy in the film made a guy who generally rolls his eyes at everything laugh like a fool for two and a half hours straight.

Reel Rundown

Polygon
4 stars out of 5 -- Armed with all the samurai-style sabre battles and eye-popping dogfights that a STAR WARS fan could hope for, Johnson’s increasingly crowd-pleasing adventure packs its heftiest punch by respecting the narrative arcs of its disparate characters.

Product Description:
Rian Johnson (LOOPER, BRICK) wrote and directed this installment of the STAR WARS saga, which picks up where THE FORCE AWAKENS left off. Rey (Daisy Ridley) learns the ways of the Force from Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), and develops a telepathic bond with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), who is struggling to master the Dark Side. Meanwhile, Stormtrooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn (John Boyega) teams up with pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and maintenance worker Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran) for a risky mission behind enemy lines. Carrie Fisher, Domhnall Gleeson, Benicio Del Toro, Gwendoline Christie, and Laura Dern co-star.
