Naval Intelligence arrests CPO Jimmy Woodford for selling military secrets to foreign agents. Posing as Jimmy's pal, agent Steve Fletcher goes undercover to ferret out the leader of the spy ring. Assisted by Jimmy's beautiful girlfriend, Carol, he infiltrates the gang but realizes that he is falling in love with the girl. Steve gathers the evidence he needs, but suspects that Carol may also be deeply involved in the espionage.

Lovely Fay Wray's comedic and acting talent shines in this Monogram production. She began her career with a role in Gasoline Love (1923) and was achieving success in the 1930s in films such as The Vampire Bat (1933) and Enemies Of Society (1933). She will always be best-remembered for her role the same year as Ann Darrow in King Kong, which was voted one of the 100 best films of all time by the American Film Institute.

A federal agent and a petty Naval officer are both investigating the theft of top-secret defense plans. Since neither one is aware that the other is working on the case, each considers the other to be the prime suspect. They end up getting romantic and catching the real spies.

Fay Wray...what else need I say Movie Lover: John Walter from MIDDLE VILLAGE, NY US -- August, 27, 2011

This is a semi-serious spy movie. Fay Wray and Grant Withers break up a spy ring of an unidentified county whose spies speak with a German accent. (Get it? The film was made in 1939 before we entered the war.) Fay Wray shows her comic talents. I prefer her as a blond as in King Kong but either way, she's gorgeous. Recommended.
