A gang of thieves have been stealing gold from Dan Parker's mine for months. The crooks ambush and murder a Mountie who has been sent to investigate. Sergeant Morton takes up the case, vowing to avenge his fallen comrade. An attempt is made on Morton's life, making him even more determined to bring the killers to swift justice.

"Dynamite" the Wonder Horse and "Captain" The King Of Dogs receive top-billing in this Empire Pictures production. One critic alleges that this was due to their ability to out-act their human counterparts. This Canadian backwoods drama features fine location photography.
