This live-action film adaptation from the graphic novel of the same name written by David C. Hayes and Kevin Moyers tells the story of Peter Cotten (Corin Nemec), a child growing up with a soft spot for rabbits. A trauma occurs in Peter's life after his school science project involving the breeding of rabbits is interrupted by bullies and his rabbit is killed. Years on, Peter is working as a doctor with rabbits to prevent human infertility. Military interference corrupts his work but when he tries to stop the experiments, he is bitten by a modified rabbit, creating his new persona Rottentail.
