The Detergents were a novelty trio from New York City who had some success on the charts (lead singer Ron Dante would later sing lead for The Archies and The Cuff Links). The group is best known for "The Leader of The Laundromat", their parody of "The Leader of The Pack". Their collectible album, features more parodies and silly songs, but all sung by what would become one of the most popular voices of the decade.
