There's an awful lot of weight for one movie to carry, but the strain really only becomes apparent during the latter passages.

Christopher Robin is a well crafted movie that dabbles too often with a self-congratulating nostalgia. [Full review in Spanish]

This film accomplished the most unimaginable feat of all: it actually made me feel bad about liking 'Winnie the Pooh.'

4 stars out of 5 -- A witty and touching father-son tale. And at its centre: a startling debut from Will Tilston, whose compelling performance ensures its emotional moments land successfully.
Empire
This is the stuff of which tears, tissues, and awards are made . . . and willy nilly silly old bears.

Behind The Lens
[A] honey-hued but brittle-edged drama about the English author A.A. Milne and the emotional price he paid for his most enduring literary creation.

Rating: 2/5 --
There's a good movie buried somewhere within the cluttered mess of Goodbye Christopher Robin, but Simon Curtis and company didn't take the time to figure out which story they wanted to tell.

Product Description:
This historical drama details the relationship between children's author A.A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin (played at various ages by Will Tilston and Alex Lawther), which was changed forever when Milne used his child and his stuffed animals as inspirations for the Winnie the Pooh stories. As the fanciful tales bring hope to England in the wake of World War I, the family deal with fame and unwanted attention. Directed by Simon Curtis. Margot Robbie, Kelly MacDonald, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge co-star.
