Description by OLDIES.com:
Lafe Kildare murders his boss, bank president Jim Fremont, and takes control of the Apache Bank. Surrounding himself with a crew of gunmen, he bleeds the ranchers dry while running his crime syndicate with impunity. Curt Fremont arrives in town to avenge his brother's murder. Posing as a foppish dandy by day, at night he dons a black mask and, as the mysterious "El Capitan," leads a guerrilla war to undermine Kildare's criminal enterprises. "El Capitan" must find a way to steal the bank records to prove Kildare's guilt and bring his brother's killer to justice.
For twenty years, into the 1940s, former rodeo performer Hoot Gibson was a huge cowboy star in Hollywood, second only to Tom Mix. One of his four marriages was to Sally Eilers, his costar in Clearing The Range.
DVD includes bonus episode of the "You Asked For It" television show from the 1950s featuring Hoot Gibson.
