Description by OLDIES.com:
Skipper Jim Wilson is determined to crack a murderous ring of smugglers who have been defying the Coast Guard for months. When dragnets, searches and seizures fail to turn up any evidence, Wilson goes undercover. Posing as a gambler he sneaks aboard the gaming ship Fortune, where he suspects that gang kingpin Harry Durant may be hiding a fortune in stolen merchandise.
Weldon Heyburn was a former football star whose career was at it's zenith in Sea Racketeers. As he gained weight, he was relegated to playing heavies and uncredited parts in "B" features. Character actor J. Carroll Naish earned a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame with appearances in over 200 films including many classics, including The Charge Of The Light Brigade (1936), Beau Geste (1939), Sahara (1943), House Of Frankenstein (1944) and Annie Get Your Gun (1950). Future "Blondie" star, Penny Singleton, who appears as "Toots" Riley is listed in the credits under her real name, Dorothy McNulty.
