Rating: 2.5/5 -- This isn't a movie anyone would mind, but it isn't one anyone would feel terribly touched by, either.

Rating: C -- Too bad that the Oscar-winning Fred Zinnemann (From Here to Eternity) ended his career with such a disappointing period romance, one that even Sean Connery (in his post-Bond era) can't help. Full Review

Description by OLDIES.com:

Arriving at a Swiss chalet for a mountain-climbing vacation, middle-aged doctor Douglas Meredith (Sean Connery) is accompanied by Kate (Betsy Brantley), a young woman posing as his wife. Although he's married to another, Douglas refuses to break it off with Kate, even though the affair would bring them shame if exposed. Things come to a head, however, when their guide (Lambert Wilson) finds himself attracted to Kate, and the dark secret she and Douglas share is finally revealed.
