Daily News' editors Ken Dwyer and J.M.Hardy are competing for the affections of pretty blonde cartoonist, Randy. Dwyer is involved in a fierce circulation battle with rival paper, The Post. Mobster boss Enright plans to put The Daily News out of business. When Randy witnesses the brutal murder of a newspaper distributor, she is kidnapped. Hardy and Dwyer must put their rivalry aside and their lives on the line to try to save her.
Evalyn Knapp was reknowned for her appearances in B-Westerns and most notably the cliffhanger The Perils Of Pauline (1934). Regis Toomey appeared in over 180 motion pictures, including They Died With Their Boots On (1941), The Big Sleep (1946) and Mighty Joe Young (1949).
