Tucker is played, with peerless wit and charm, by Robert Redford, in what the actor has said will be the final film role of his almost-60-year career.

[Redford's] found the ideal swan song, a project that celebrates his career more affectionately than any lifetime achievement clip reel. -- Grade: B+

Product Description:

Director/co-writer David Lowery's crime drama is based on the true story of Forrest Tucker, a career criminal who escaped from San Quentin State Prison in 1979 and embarked on a spree of bank robberies. Robert Redford stars as the gentlemanly septuagenarian robber. While evading a dedicated detective (Casey Affleck), he embarks on a late-life romance with a woman (Sissy Spacek) who accepts him in spite of his status as a wanted criminal.
