Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 6/10 --
For its intended audience, G-Force is a winner. Only a shopworn plot keeps it from being a solid seven.

Movie Metropolis
Rating: 1/5 --
Obtain a human-sized version of a hamster wheel, then spend a couple of hours scurrying around inside it, and you'll have had an experience far more varied and stimulating than what's on offer here.

Times (UK)
A fur-covered A-TEAM for the kiddies, G-FORCE is heavy on splashy pyrotechnics....It moves at a rapid clip, and there are enough inside jokes for action fans to elicit laughs from adults.
Variety
Rating: 2/5 --
The joke of cute animals hacking into mainframes and dodging explosions may not be enough to sustain a movie.

The Age (Australia)
Rating: 2/5 --
Though the film as a whole delivers ample thrills, it does lag occasionally and is encumbered by bland voiceovers and a lack of laughs

Time Out
Rating: 2/5 --
Possibly the first movie to imagine -- in 3D! -- the comedic crime-fighting possibilities of small mammals that usually spend their days on hamster wheels.

American Profile
Rating: 2/5 --
The story feels thin and faintly incoherent, the action is loud and relentless. A milder version of many other Bruckheimer films, then - which doesn't mean kids won't love it.

Product Description:
Two time Oscar-winning visual effects artist Hoyt Yeatman makes his feature directorial debut with this Jerry Bruckheimer-produced family film following a group of highly trained guinea pigs on their mission to prevent an evil billionaire from taking over the world. Beginning in the Civil War -- when carrier pigeons delivered messages from the front lines -- the American government has been covertly training animals to work in espionage. The latest government program is a clandestine espionage team known as "G-Force," which includes a team of ultra-intelligent guinea pigs who share 98.7 percent of their DNA with humans. Comprised of unpredictable weapons expert Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan), alluring martial arts expert Juarez (voice of Penélope Cruz), stealthy reconnaissance expert Mooch, and a star-nosed mole named Speckles (voice of Nicolas Cage), who specializes in computers, this crack team of agents is fronted by heroic squad leader Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell). When a deranged billionaire hatches a plan to control the entire planet through common household appliances, the G-Force leaps into action on a mission to ensure that he does not succeed.
