Product Description:

When her communist husband Robert (Emmanuel Bourdieu) is sent to a concentration camp during the World War II German occupation of France, young writer Marguerite Duras (Mélanie Thierry) begins a cat-and-mouse relationship with the Gestapo agent (Benoît Magimel) who arrested Robert in hopes of gaining information for the Resistance and locating her husband. While grieving her imprisoned husband, she also finds herself falling for another fellow Resistance member (Benjamin Biolay). Directed by Emmanuel Finkiel. Based on "THE WAR: A MEMOIR" by French writer Marguerite Duras.
