Rating: 6/10 -- Taken purely for what it is, there's plenty to enjoy about The Meg. Full Review
Wicked Horror

Rating: 3/10 -- The Meg is advertised as a fun and silly shark movie, but it has long, boring stretches and takes its 70-foot shark way too seriously. Full Review

Rating: 3/5 -- After a deep-sea rescue mission in the Philippine Trench goes Horribly Wrong, Jonas Taylor vows not to dive again. Five years later, when another six-miles-under mission is KO'd , Jonas is coaxed back into the depths. Full Review

Rating: 3/10 -- A giant shark dud. Hilariously bad. I actually enjoyed this movie because it was so horrible. The painful moments of Jason Statham (and I LOVE Statham) and the lead actress were uncomfortable, and I really cared less if anyone got eaten. Full Review

Rating: 2/5 -- The Meg is fine when you're watching it, but you could easily keep one eye on the screen or bury your head in your popcorn and not miss much. Full Review

Director Jon Turteltaub reels you in with Bloody action and adventure for the first two thirds of this movie, but, after that, it gets pretty silly and sappy, including a romance, but not with the toothy Mega fish. Full Review

Product Description:

Jon Turteltaub's blockbuster action-horror film was filmed in China and New Zealand. A deep-sea submarine is attacked by a megalodon: a 75-foot living fossil and the largest shark to ever exist. To rescue the crew from this unexpected prehistoric uber-predator, a Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao) and his daughter (Li Bingbing) enlist the help of a veteran deep-sea rescue diver (Jason Statham).
