Allen's finest work in years, and while the plot may rely a bit too much on coincidence and simple conflict resolution, the quick-witted dialogue and talented ensemble makes it all work.

Much of the film's humor revolves around outrageous character transformations....[The film does] serve as an excellent vehicle for both Wood, utterly charming here, and Clarkson, displaying her considerable comic talents.
