Description by OLDIES.com:
Seeking revenge when his own boy is killed, cattle rustler Lee Morgan kidnaps Bobby, the son of Marshal Dan Carruthers. The outlaw raises Bobby as his own, hiding the truth from him. Seventeen years later, Morgan plots the ultimate cruel act of retribution against Carruthers when he sends the adult Bobby (played by Bob Steele) to gun the lawman down.
The theme of father-son relationships run through many of cowboy star Bob Steele's films, especially those directed by Robert N. Bradbury, who was Steele's real-life father. Steele (born Robert Adrian Bradbury in 1907) made over 200 films in a career that spanned 50 years. His father, Robert North Bradbury, was a prolific director in the 1930s, also guiding John Wayne and Tex Ritter to early fame.
