Description by OLDIES.com:

The most celebrated lawman of the Old West rides again in the complete season one (1955-1956) of the popular classic television Series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. Hugh OBrian stars as the famed marshal whose exploits with Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson and the Clanton Gang are boldly brought to life in episodes based on actual events. With his signature Buntline Special pistol in hand, Wyatt Earp held posts in a series of increasingly lawless towns and battled dangerous men in his efforts to keep the peace. Through Ellsworth, Wichita, Dodge City and Tombstone, Wyatts reputation as a just and formidable marshal grew, culminating in a storied gunfight that would seal his legend.

Product Description:

A creation of Desilu Studios (I LOVE LUCY), the western series THE LIFE AND LEGEND OF WYATT EARP ran on ABC from 1955 through 1961, and was loosely adapted from the real-life adventures of the titular frontier marshal (Hugh O'Brian). Episodes ran 30 minutes, and depicted Earp's exploits with such legendary cohorts as Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson and The Clanton Gang. Toting his trademark weapon - a handgun known as a "Buntline Special" -- Earp set about enforcing the peace in a series of lawless towns that desperately needed him. This box set contains all 35 episodes from Season One, with guest stars including Angie Dickinson, John Carradine, James Coburn and Louise Fletcher.
