No doubt it is a tongue-in-cheek name, but it is true that Capharnaüm is about many things: corruption and racism, refugees, stolen childhood, the moral weakness of adults and the difficulty in apportioning blame. Full Review

Zain, a gutsy streetwise child, flees his negligent parents. He survives on the streets through his wits while taking care of Ethiopian refugee and her baby son. After being arrested and put in jail, Zain finally seeks justice against his parents in court for the crime of giving him life.
