Description by OLDIES.com:
Daredevil newsreel photographer Bill Allen (William Gargan) has shaky ethics, while newspaper reporter Jane Mallory (Frances Dee) is a straight arrow. But when the two meet, the ground moves, not because of love, but because they're in an earthquake. Briefly combining forces to get their stories filed, the two journalists share the same fearless spirit, if not the same sense of journalistic morals. The pair falls for each other despite Mary's engagement to staid banker Hal Caldwell (Ralph Bellamy). And when Mary gets kidnapped by gangsters anxious to kill a story, Hal and Bill join forces because both of their skills will be needed to save the woman they love.
