Description by OLDIES.com:
A radio crooner and his hunchbacked accompanist (Ralph Forbes) become so famous for their daily broadcasts that gangsters try to muscle in on their lucrative career. But there is a dark secret behind each of the singer's programs and soon a cold-blooded murder stops the music. This absorbing, musical mystery is from an era when radio was king and superstars were heard --- but rarely seen.
Product Description:
A disfigured crooner hides behind the scenes, and allows someone else to lip-sync to his voice and receive the fame and attention that should be his. When the lip-syncer is murdered the crooner is immediatly thought to be a prime suspect. AKA "Phantom of the Air."

Art Deco sets...crooners...unrequited love...and murder!!! This is a very entertaining movie even though there is no attempt to hide the actual murderer. Enjoy!
