Harold Stone's (Harry Anderson) career as a NIGHT COURT judge formed the basis for this comedic show, which first brightened up television schedules in 1984. With a maverick style that produced surprisingly good results, Stone was often the bane of the courtroom's staff--while being a firm favorite of the various miscreants who passed before him.
