Radio Luxembourg Symphony Orchestra Concert Promenade

In Victorian London, the conductor Sir Henry Wood began a successful series of orchestral concerts featuring lighter works that were popular with the public. These were held outdoors on the Promenade of Hyde Park, and became known as the "Proms Concerts." This disc continues that wonderful tradition with a collection of popular, but no substantive, works that long have been audience-pleasers.
