Description by OLDIES.com:

The beautiful Tigri (Laurette Luez) and her amazonian stone age friends are convinced that men are only good for one thing. When they capture some potential mates, Engor (Allan Nixon) resents his treatment and escapes. During the wild pursuit that follows they battle dragons, giants, and discover fire, all without messing up their hair or makeup. Tigri, impressed despite herself, agrees to marry the slightly smarter-than-average Engor, and the continuance of our species is assured.

Product Description:

Stone age sex kittens hunt high and low for mates. In 1950 this was considered to be an "adults only" feature, but it's a terrible movie anytime.

Sensuality In The Stone Age Movie Lover: from Chicago, IL US -- July, 15, 2007

Prehistoric Women is both a action-adventure as well a comedy. It is about a group of lovely cavewomen determined to capture nice looking but slow witted cavemen for their mates. My favorite part of the film is the narration. This film is perfect for those who are loyal B-movie fans.

prehistoric women Movie Lover: from edgein -- May, 20, 2005

The narration of this epic is worth the price of admission alone. He should have gotten an Oscar!!! The screenplay is also priceless e.g. "it appears the swan dive was invented before the swan". How bizarre is that?? The special effects are also a real hoot especially the duck? goose? made up to be a pterodactyl. You can't go wrong with this one.

Laurette Luez fans rejoice! Movie Lover: from Toronto, ON CA -- February, 10, 2004

This is the kind of movie that people love to make fun of, and it certainly offers some scope for that kind of mockery. The story is thin and the special effects are, well, not particularly special. It has, however, long been my motto that the only bad movie is a movie that you don’t enjoy and, judged on that basis, PREHISTORIC WOMEN is one of the best films ever made! This movie has just about everything you could ask for; beautiful cavewomen with 1950’s hair styles, none-too-bright cavemen who somehow manage to make every discovery but the wheel in 74 minutes, a lumbering giant bent on killing everyone in sight... if there were some dinosaurs around it would be perfect! And then there is the stunning Laurette Luez who, despite having appeared in such acclaimed films as D.O.A. and KIM, is probably best remembered as Tigri, leader of the cavewomen. The colour print is quite good, although some of the night scenes are a bit dark. Overall I’m very pleased with this DVD and highly recommend it to all lovers of low budget cavewoman movies.
