The Kings of Beach Music!
Music Lover: ROBERT VELEZ from
BRONX, NY US -- November, 7, 2014
With the exception of the drifters, no other group in the 1960's captivated the beach sound better than the Tams! Hearing gravel voice Joe Pope sing "Untie me, What kind of fool and Be Young Be Foolish Be Happy sent the whole eastern seaboard of the United States into a frenzy! Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was like a second home to the Tams and I felt the group gave their best concert performances there! Buying this CD will bring back a lot of memories and I bet a lot of people who heard the Tams back in the day were doing the shag! That's a dance, folks!
