Two girls from Texas travel to Florida searching for a rich husband. Kay (Betty Grable) pretends to be a millionairess herself while her friends and family pretend to be members of her staff. Kay meets two significant bachelors who are marriage material: Phil O'Neil (Don Ameche) and Jeffrey Bolton (Robert Cummings). But when she finds out Phil is actually broke, she decides to go out with Jeff. Does greed win over romance?
