[T]here are certainly sights to behold -- a flying dragon, weird and gorgeous landscapes, the Mrs.' constant makeup and wardrobe changes and an encounter with a character played by Zach Galifianakis whose utterances are about as amusing his name, Happy Medium.

Rating: 3/4 -- A Wrinkle in Time is magic. Pure, unadulterated magic. It's the kind of film that shines a light into the darkness, that is more than the sum of its parts. Full Review

[A]n otherworldly glitter explosion of a movie, the kind of picture that wears its heart on its tie-dyed sleeve. It's the product of a big, unwieldy and excitingly go-for-broke vision, one etched in bright hues and kaleidoscopic visual effects...

It's a year be proud of the fade of girl-characters in movies who look to male companions and ask, wide eyed "What do we do now?" Not Meg. Not in Ava's movies. Full Review
