The tale of Jack & The Beanstalk, as told in the 1952 musical starring Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. From a rare pristine 35mm print of the film which contains the unique B&W credits, the sepia toned opening sequences (ala Wizard of Oz) and onto the bright colors of the amusing world of the Giant (Buddy Baer), Jack (Lou) and his friend Mr. Dinkel (played by Abbott). This is one of the rare color films starring the comedy duo and was produced by the team. The Blu-ray is loaded with a large number of extras including compilations of trailers, bloopers and outtakes There is a still photo gallery of promotional scenes from movie and publicity photos formatted as a slideshow. An added bonus includes the full length color cartoon A TALE OF TWO KITTIES starring Babbot & Catstello and introducing the beloved Warner Brother character Tweetie Pie.
