Louisiana's French heritage is a big factor in giving the music that developed in the wake of Elvis Presley's success it's own peculiar flavor. Rock'n'roll was already an amalgam of earlier styles, but the Louisiana melting pot added it's own spice to the gumbo. Eight of these 28 tracks are previously unreleased.
