Description by OLDIES.com:
Bill Small thinks he has it all – a surefire Wall Street-beating system (at least on paper); his gal, Betty; a room at Betty and her sister Jane's boarding house; his trumpet; his dreams; and, best of all, no job. Bill's life of Riley takes a decided downturn when Jane evicts him for back rent and Betty gets engaged to local big banker Jim Belden. Big-thinking, horn-blowing Bill isn't going to take that lying down (much as he'd like to) and embarks on an "all's fair in love and war" quest to reclaim his honey.
