Entertainment Reviews:
Ron Howard is a studio craftsman who specializes in crowd-pleasing entertainment...THE BEATLES: EIGHT DAYS A WEEK focuses on the band during their crowd-pleasing years: the era between 1962 and 1966 when they toured the world, delivering smiling and effervescent performances...
A.V. Club
3 stars out of 4 -- [The film] catches the exhilarating kick of Beatlemania as the band toured 15 countries from 1963 to 1966....The documentary rightly keeps coming back to the music and the band's delight in making it.
Rolling Stone
This film, like The Beatles, arrives and leaves in a rush, but it does leave one thing behind: unforgettable music.

Esquire Magazine
It's no surprise that a documentary on the Beatles and their music is a treat, but the fact that it is not an unalloyed pleasure is a bit unexpected.
Los Angeles Times
Rating: 4/5 --
The material is uncontroversial to say the least, but hugely enjoyable with some remastered live performances that were previously drowned out by screaming girl fans.

Times (UK)
Rating: 4/5 --
This doc isn't pretending to be anything but hagiographic, but despite its obvious fandom, it does a great job of reminding us just how ground breaking and popular the Beatles really were.

Dear Cast and Crew
THE BEATLES: EIGHT DAYS A WEEK supplies a month-by-month account of the band's brief tenure as a live band. Predictably full of great performing footage and incorporating new interviews with the too-few surviving witnesses...
Hollywood Reporter
Product Description:
Director Ron Howard (RUSH, APOLLO 13) takes a look back at the years when the Beatles were still a touring band, from their early performances in Europe in 1963 to their decision in 1966 to quit playing publicly in order to focus on their work in the studio. This documentary features archival footage of the Beatles' legendary concerts, as well as interviews with surviving band members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, and famous fans such as Whoopi Goldberg, Sigourney Weaver, and Elvis Costello.
