WWII Newsreel History of the Third Reich, Volumes 11-15 (5-DVD)

This series,'A Newsreel History of the Third Reich', includes unique footage plundered by Russian troops in 1945. Compiled as it is from German newsreels which were made under the influence of Goebbels' Ministry of Propaganda, these are by no means accurate histories but allow unique insight into how the period leading up to and including World War II was presented to the German people. This release covers the second half of 1942 through 1943, showing Hitler and Mussolini meeting in Salzburg, the bombing of Leningrad docks and u-boat packs hunting in the Atlantic.

This release offers a collection of archival newsreels confiscated by Russian troops from the Nazi regime in WWII Germany. The propaganda filled newsreels - an effort led by the infamous Nazi Ministry of Propaganda mastermind Goebbels - offer a combination of ridiculous pro-Nazi fiction, and real-life footage of dog fights, troop movements, and more.
