Entertainment Reviews:
Rating: 3/4 --
With satire, sorrow and secrecy bathing in dark corners and also in broad daylight, "don't worry, be happy" never felt so difficult.

Rating: 2/4 --
Haneke seems less like an uncompromising social satirist and more like a pernicious scold, taking a one-dimensional "kids these days" position on modern technology.

Wickedly superb social satire, and the little bit of sugar evident in [Haneke's] latest formulation only allows the lacerations to cut deeper.

Description by OLDIES.com:
After her mother's death, 13-year-old Eve (Fantine Harduin) comes to move in with her philandering father's (Matthieu Kassovitz), family, including patriarch (Jean-Louis Trintignant), dealing with old age and failing health; an aunt (Isabelle Huppert), trying to keep together the family business; and a distraught cousin (Franz Rogowski), who feels he has no place in life. The family deals with life, death, infidelity and the modern political and social climate, leading to a surprising ending.
