While I firmly believe that any recordings by these two exceptional artists are worth checking out, please be advised that some of the selections in this release are re-recordings, particularly by Brook, and, as a matter of Taste, may or may not be preferred, compared to the original hits, by you or any other listener. Due to her shorter lifespan, Dinah Washington didn't have as much time to re-record her hits, although alternate takes appear, here and there. Also highly recommend: "Letter Me Sing And I'm Happy" by Brook, also available at Oldies.com. Original versions, of songs, unavailable elsewhere.
