The History Channel The Plague

The History Channel casts an expert eye over the devastating effects the plague had over Europe. After the symptoms were first diagnosed in 1437 the plague spread like wildfire, eventually causing millions of deaths. In order to demonstrate the tragedy the History Channel has used various diaries and journals from the era to help reconstruct what the period felt like.
