Along with her partner in crime, Billy (Jayne Mansfield) reels in her lover Jim (Anthony Quayle), a working-class guy, with the promise of lots of cash to pull off a robbery. Jim stashes the money but someone in the gang sets him up as the fall guy and he lands in jail for years. When he is finally released, everyone wants to know what happened to the money and they will go as far as kidnapping Jim's son to get it.
