The Vampire Bitches (2006): Video store clerk Marty Jenkins hasn't been lucky at life. Mom and Dad disowned him, and his girlfriend just walked out. But his prospects are looking up. Three curvy goth babes have started frequenting his store, and they've all got a crush on him. Marty can't believe his luck, until he realizes it's not love they want...but his blood. Ohio director Henrique Couto has garnered a cult following for mixing comedy and horror. His films include Faces of Schlock (2009), Depression: The Movie (2012) and Babysitter Massacre (2013). After The Blood Rush (2009): A coven of female vampires invades Detroit. The government enlists Cole, a fearless vampire killer, to rid the city of the infestation before it is overrun with the undead. Fearing their destruction, the bloodsuckers kidnap Cole's girlfriend as protection. Milligan will face a bloody battle on the streets before the sun rises again...

After the Blood Rush was shot on location in Hamtramck, Michigan, and even features the town's mayor. Noted underground cartoonist Matt Feazell (The Amazing Cynicalman), also a Hamtramck resident, appears as reporter Paul Cay. As testament to the sexiness of the film's vamps, each of the three principal actresses became pregnant less than a year after the movie finished filming.
