Run by former Red Sox pitcher and ladies' man Sam Malone (Ted Danson), the establishment's ever-present characters include salty barmaid Carla (Rhea Perlman), barflies Norm (George Wendt) and Cliff (John Ratzenberger), pompous psychiatrist Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), and, of course, Sam's love interest/nemesis Diane Chambers (Shelley Long). The fourth season introduced sweet but dimwitted bartender Woody Boyd (Woody Harrelson) as a replacement for Nicholas Colasanto, who died shortly after season three. This collection includes all 26 episodes from the award-winning fourth season, which features guest appearances by Sherilyn Fenn, Senator Gary Hart, Kate Mulgrew, Bebe Neuwirth, and Jennifer Tilly.
