Rating: 2/5 -- I don't doubt Carolla's respect for the material -- he himself is a racer, and owns and drives several of Newman's cars. But he's stretching a few interesting anecdotes out to feature length, and you can feel the strain on the material.

Rating: 3/4 -- The portrait that emerges of Newman is of a decent, cool and low-key guy who preferred racing over acting. In his own words, "the only grace I ever found was in an automobile." Full Review

Product Description:

Directed by Adam Carolla, this documentary chronicles the car-racing career of the late Paul Newman, who was also an Oscar-winning actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Incredibly, Newman did not start racing cars until he was well into his 40's but he managed to make a name for himself as a serious driver, eventually buying his own racing team and going on to win four national championships.
