Description by OLDIES.com:

In 1976, producer Graham Leader and director James Szalapski documented the outlaw songwriter scene that extended from Austin to Nashville. On their travels, they met unknown musicians Steve Earle (ten years before he released his first album), Rodney Crowell and John Hiatt, plus their musical mentors Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt. Born was Heartworn Highways, which covers singer-songwriters whose songs diverge from the traditions of the previous generation, instead recalling early folk and country music.
This product is made-on-demand by the manufacturer using DVD-R recordable media. Almost all DVD players can play DVD-Rs (except for some older models made before 2000) - please consult your owner's manual for formats compatible with your player. These DVD-Rs may not play on all computers or DVD player/recorders. To address this, the manufacturer recommends viewing this product on a DVD player that does not have recording capability.
