Description by OLDIES.com:
At the turn of the 20th century, Irish-American mining engineer Charles Norgate (Aldo Ray) agrees to help the IRA fund its political activities by robbing the Bank of England. Tunneling in over the weekend, Norgate breaks through from the sewer below, but when dimming lights and an absence of rats raises a bank guard's (Peter O'Toole) suspicions, it becomes a race against time to steal a million in gold before they can open the vault.
