Much of this film takes place behind the scenes of a bustling film studio and thus offers an entertaining glimpse of the workings of a silent studio. This aspect alone makes the film of interest! Young Mary (Doris Kenyon) is a country girl who is dissatisfied with her quiet unexciting life but after meeting film star Kenneth Driscoll (Robert Warwick) she is enticed to try her luck as a film actress. However achieving success proves difficult and she has to decide if the admiration of a dashing screen idol is enough reason to stay in the city. Music score by David Knudtson.
