COMMANDER CODY was the Rockpalast guest on July 1st, 1980. Art student George Frayne had already reached cult status with his band, COMMANDER CODY AND HIS LOST PLANET AIRMEN. The name derived from a sci-fi TV series, and their music consisted of boogie, rock’n’roll, country – albeit the latter not of the “perfect world” variety, but with an edge - and lots of high spirits.
