In my opinion this is one of Mayall's best releases. He always had a knack for assembling musicians with individual 'voices' on their respective instruments and who grow to be a cohesive musical entity. The quality of his writing rises with the talent of the group he fronts.
Harvey Mandel on guitar and
SugarCane Harris on electric(wah wah)violin are giants on this outing. Larry Taylor holds down the bottom. And off they fly!
